WHY FAST? WHY NOW?
The world is in need of healing, peace and restoration. There is so much going on in the world today with regard to the COVID-19 pandemic, and all of the civil unrest. We may not be able to create the cure or be the one to write and pass the legislation but we can pray. It has been laid upon our hearts and spirits to fast and pray for the world. We chose the model/example of fasting that Daniel set in Daniel chapter 10. Submitting yourself to extended prayer and fasting is a life altering experience that will develop your faith and draw you nearer to God. If we want to see a shift in this world we have to change the atmosphere by saturating it with prayer.
